Edeymi, who was strongly fancied for the Pertemps Final over hurdles at Cheltenham but could never get into contention, fell on his only start over fences last May. He'll be suited by further in time but is still likely to attract attention again. Clonbanan Lad's initial form over fences would be good enough for this but there's no doubt he's disappointed and has reverted to hurdles for his last four outings. Jarob hasn't performed badly over the bigger obstacles though he'll need to find more and his best form has been on quicker ground. Useful hurdler UPAZO hasn't shown much aptitude for chasing in his two starts to date but his trainer will have given him intensive schooling and in a race where all have something to prove he's handed the vote.
