Lucky Bridle was just beginning to make ground in the County Hurdle won by stablemate Wicklow Brave when he fell at the second last. He'll be fancied to gain compensation though this looks just as tough. Cape Glory was caught in the closing stages over 2m2f at Downpatrick so this should prove ideal while A P McCoy's mount Thomas Edison was in brilliant form last summer and the partnership prevailed in the Galway Hurdle in July. A 12lb rise and long absence wouldn't be ideal for Tony Martin's charge but Joseph O'Brien's mount Draco doesn't look too badly treated. Pairofbrowneyes was heavily supported at Navan last month and looked a certain winner when he went clear on the run-in. He stopped quickly near the finish which was disappointing but he gets a chance to make amends in this lucrative contest. PINK COAT (NAP) won a tough handicap over the course and distance in November 2013 and didn't reappear until January where he caught the eye behind Katie T. He was well supported at Naas last month but didn't get the run of the race and can gain compensation. Pivot Bridge, who won on the Flat at Dundalk last month, is another to consider from the bottom of the handicap.
