Ceremonial Jade can continue winning ways at the expense of Phluke, Rochdale and Woodcote Place to name but three. First season trainer Marco Botti is already establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with, and his current move to bigger premises in Newmarket is a signal of intent. His runners should be followed until the end of the season as he strives to create an impression for new owners, and in Ceremonial Jade he could well have another one here. The American-bred absolutely bolted up on his first try on a Polytrack surface at Kempton a month ago, and on that form it is hard not to fancy him to follow up here. Phluke has in the main been in good form as well, having won three of his last five starts, and as he has won here before and is not badly treated compared to Turf, is seen as a main threat. Having won well at Haydock in July, Rochdale failed to cope with a rise in the weights on a return visit, and is another that now switches to sand. He is interesting, while of the remainder, hat-trick seeking Woodcote Place shoulders a 6lb penalty but can go well. Ceremonial Jade looked the part last time and can follow up.
