led until headed 3f out, soon weakened
close up, chased winner over 2f out, every chance inside final 2f, no extra and one pace over 1f out
tracked leaders, ridden over 3f out, weakened well over 1f out
settled towards rear, ridden 4f out, kept on final 2f but never dangerous
tracked leader, led 3f out, stayed on well, ridden out
held up mid-division, lost place 5f out, no chance afterwards
always rear, struggling 4f out, eased over 1f out
Carrowdore should take plenty of stopping here and is taken to score at the main expense Atahuelpa and Mustang Ali. The selection is not easy to win with but confirmed his well-being with a good second behind Billy Bathwick at Yarmouth last time. A reproduction of that effort should suffice here and with conditions to suit he is taken to score. Atahuelpa ran well for his new trainer last time and as that was his best effort for a while he is certainly worth noting in the market as he has plenty of ability. Mustang Ali is a consistent sort and the booking of Darryll Holland catches the eye so it would be no surprise to see him go well. Sovereign Dreamer is from a yard in form and is back on a handy mark so is another with decent place prospects, but although he is difficult to catch right, Carrowdore is given the vote.
