Red Damson, Garnett and Magical Quest look to be the principles in the opener and the vote is given to Red Damson. The selection is making his seasonal reappearance but he hails from the Sir Mark Prescott yard and providing he is fully tuned up for this then he should take all the beating. He is stepped up in trip which will help and he showed enough at much shorter trips last season to make him the obvious choice here. Garnett rates the main danger as there has been plenty to like about his two racecourse appearances to date and if our selection is in need of the run then he is likely to be the one to profit. Magical Quest was a little disappointing on his debut on this track when finishing well down the field behind Light of Morn but he is a nicely bred colt who is sure to come on for that experience. Lysander's Quest looks the best of the remainder, but Red Damson is the one that really catches they eye here and he is given the confident vote.
