Sundance sets a good standard here and looks the one to beat with Canton and Pitch Up as the others for the shortlist. The selection looked one to stay on the right side of when making a winning debut at Windsor when defeating Dancing Rose. He looked to win with a fair bit in hand and although this is tougher he still looks the one they all have to beat with further improvement likely. Canton ran well finishing fifth in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Haydock last time and the form of that run has since been franked so this colt has got an obvious chance. Pitch Up is well-regarded by his trainer Terry Mills and he ran a cracker to defeat Agent Kensington at Sandown last time. Connections believe he will benefit from that success and it would be no surprise to see this colt in the thick of things at the business end of the race. Westbrook Blue and Russian Rocket are the others worthy of consideration as they have both shown a decent level of form, but Sundance really caught they eye when making a winning debut at Windsor, and if he has improved for that run that he should go close in a very competitive event.
