William Haggas has won four of the last six renewals of this Listed contest though Yazaman has a tough task on these terms in a tricky race. A couple of these are clear at the weights on last year’s form including Apollo One, who has every chance on his third in the Solario at Sandown, but MEGALLAN was unsuited by testing going in Group company at the end of last season and the Gosden colt and 2000 Guineas entry gets a speculative vote on his return. The well regarded El Drama is entered in both the latter contest and the Derby having made a winning debut at Doncaster in October while the 1000 Guineas entry Thank You Next is partnered by Ryan Moore and preferred to stablemate and dual novice winner To The Bar. Big Narstie and Gioia Cieca are more recent novice winners on the all-weather.
