In depth

Verdict

New York Oscar, La Quinta and Tang are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to New York Oscar. The selection was a fair second behind Sister Ettien last time and despite carrying top weight here his previous run has worked out well and he looks to hold solid claims. La Quinta is feared on her best form but she has not progressed as expected and at the likely odds she looks worth opposing. Tang is another that could go well but she has given the impression she would be suited by a longer trip and she is taken on with this in mind. Bungie looks weighted up to his best while Ellablue is unexposed and could improve but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to New York Oscar.
