Course and distance winners are hard to come by in this sphere so Katie Killane gets the tentative vote ahead of El Potro and Peggys First. The selection was running consistently earlier in the year, and her latest fourth doesn't read too badly in the context of this race. That run hinted at a return to form, and with a good draw today, she will attempt to burn off these rivals. El Potro's second last time out at Southwell was a fair effort and he could go well, although he is yet to win at this course and may struggle to dominate from his low draw. Another one that will be up with the pace is Peggys First, however she is passed over as this trip looks on the sharp side for her. Of the rest Primarily must enter calculations based on his last two consistent runs, whilst teenager Sharp Hat still has the ability to pop up.
