Lasting Delight gets the vote here ahead of Forthright, Nessen Dorma and Bill Bennett. The selection has won once from three starts, and that success came on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. She disappointed last time but could just be a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver who appreciates the step up to 10 furlongs and we'll take the chance that this is the case. Forthright was quite highly tried last season and might not quite be up to conceding weight all round but could still go well. Ascertain won well here over a mile last time but the question is, will the extra two furlongs suit? Nessen Dorma has won his last two races but those wins came at Southwell and this will be tougher. A similar comment applies to Bill Bennett following his Wolverhampton victory. Maybe Someday is also a Wolverhampton winner as, indeed, is Lasting Delight. The latter however, as we say, could be a Sir Mark Prescott improver who will appreciate the 10-furlong trip and, as such, gets the vote.
