Free Lift looks the best bet here with Pamir and Resplendent Nova all holding formbook chances in opposition. A winner of a weak Windsor classified event, Free Lift demonstrated considerable pace to land that prize and does not look harshly treated off her current mark. The draw of two is a bonus to her hopes and she seems difficult to oppose on all known evidence. Conversely, Pamir is better under hold up tactics. Winners around here always have to be respected but runners such as this carry a warning in that all the cards will have to fall right for him to win again. Resplendent Nova can be relied upon at a big price. He is a much better horse on the all-weather than turf and his effort here last time can be forgiven as he had the wrong side of the draw on that occasion. Judd Street has to reverse form with our selection and it will be interesting to see if hold-up tactics are utilized again on this occasion. Tequila Sheila is best of the rest although her punters will have to forgive a very modest run at Doncaster last month. A good standard of sprinter on view this afternoon and we shall stick with the progressive Free Lift.
