In depth

Verdict

Grand Plan will surely come on for his recent c&d outing and can break his maiden here, with Gone Hunting and Multi Tasker looking the others to concentrate on. The selection hails from the yard of Jamie Osborne, whose three juvenile runners, at the point of writing, had yielded a couple of runner-up spots, so he clearly has them plenty forward enough. Grand Plan caught a tartar here the other day but stayed on well when beaten to reclaim second and the experience will not have been lost on him. Gone Hunting has also had a run and although sixth, he was beaten only three-parts-of-a-length over the minimum trip at Kempton last week. With improvement likely he can go close. The same can be said of Multi Tasker, who has just over a length to find with the latter runner, and may be capable of bridging that gap. Firth Of Forth is well bred and from an inform yard, so is likely to prove best of the debutantes, but we will take Grand Plan to land this.
