BEARNEEN BOY got his act together last time out and in another weak race is taken to score again at the main expense of Narlen and Anna Panna. Neil King's gelding was given a great ride last time by Jamie Moore who retains the ride today. He has previously worn various aides but he seemed to appreciate going 'au natural' and with just a 7lbs penalty he is sure to give it a good go from the front. Narlen was the favourite for the race won by the selection but he put in a below-par performance. He made a mistake late on but was beaten at the time and racing off an unchanged mark he will do well to turn the tables. Anna Panna was third in that race and was beaten by just over six lengths. The 7lbs pull in the weights that he receives could make him a bigger danger however his record of no wins from 19 starts is a danger to backers. Babe Heffron represents a stable in good form and he looks sure to improve on his recent third at Carlisle but his point-to-point win came over three miles so this drop in trip may be against him. King Diamond is another to consider in an open race, however it is Bearneen Boy who is taken to win again.
