Marko Jadeo heads our shopping list, while the likes of Tyrone Sam, Rafferty and Mystic Man are others to considered if the prices are right. Mystic Man is (like every one of his rivals!) as exposed as they come and needs very little introduction to fans of the winter Flat racing game. The nine-year-old is a consistent 'fun horse' for his connections and it would not be surprising to see him throw down a strong challenge. Rafferty has thrown away numerous winning chances and is never one to think about going overboard with - hence he finds himself on a mark 20lb lower than his best assessment. John Egan is the latest man charged with bringing the best out of the gelding and it will take all the Irishman's strength in the saddle to galvanise a winning effort from this tricky customer. Tyrone Sam has his act together well just now and, as seven furlongs suits him well, he could easily make the most of a good mark in this company. However, Marko Jadeo has the edge on the balance of form and, as he is already a dual course and distance winner, the selection is fancied to brush this lot aside - even though they are all in receipt of weight from the nine-year-old. His rider, Tolly Dean, aides his cause with his 5lb claim.
