Those that already have a rating do not look to be anything out of the ordinary but it may be pay dividends to side with experience in this pretty moderate affair. Tally sets them a fair standard in that sphere but he is becoming a frustrating horse to follow and is a prime candidate to find one too good again. Angel Annie looked to have been harshly treated when handed a rating of 74 after finishing third in a poor maiden here last October, and it is interesting that she is avoiding handicaps at present. However, she ran a fair race on her first try at this trip last time and should make a bold bid to justify her position as the best on the official figures. Any support for Jagged and Party Turn should be noted with interest but Blessed Place will carry our hopes today after a couple of promising outings earlier in the month. The terms of today¿s race leave little to spare between the selection and Tally, but Blessed Place still has plenty of scope for improvement and can confirm recent form with his rival under the capable guidance of a jockey that knows him well.
