Miss Saafend Plaza can make experience count over the likes of Eridani and Les Fazzani, with Towy Girl noted as well. Miss Saafend Plaza has had more chances than most, having had 10 career starts already. However, Richard Hannon's filly has been hard to place so far, finding one or two too good on a number of occasions, including when second to the useful Cesc in a nursery here nine days ago. That form alone should make her hard to beat back in maiden company. Les Fazzani could be best of the three newcomers, with Eddie Ahern booked to ride, with Eridani and Spring Glory especially, ones to note for next year. Towy Girl looked the likely winner when she went on at Kempton last time, but she wilted inside the final furlong to come home second behind Flower Of Kent, and could have done with a drop back in trip really at this stage of her development. In contrast, Miss Saafend Plaza will relish this step up in trip for the first time, and there will be no excuses today.
