Amwell Brave is selected ahead of Polish Power and King of Knight. Amwell Brave was a winner of a recent handicap at the track off a mark of 55. He shows his best form off a strong pace and with that not occurring at Wolverhampton, he is forgive that recent effort and is accordingly nominated here. Polish Power was a recent winner of an amateur rider's event at the course. He won impressively on that day but there are obvious issues with regard to draw and weight on this occasion. King of Knight looked as if a step up in trip could bring improvement. There isn't too much in the way of strength in depth so a watching brief on the market is advised. Robbie Can Can produced a below par run over hurdles. He is a consistent enough type under these conditions. Sugitani was an easy victor at Southwell and it will be interesting to see if that form can be reproduced on this surface. Missie Baileys has showed form over eight to ten furlongs and could be a suspect stayer. Amwell Brave looks to hold obvious chances and we will side with him here.
