Mina A Salem, Consonant and Dumaran are among the likely market principals and we will nominate Mina A Salem. Clive Brittain has plundered many a prize on the all-weather and although there are a couple of question marks about the trip - the handicapper has not been excessive on recent efforts and he will be a working mans' price. Consonant is a rare flat runner for David Bridgwater. Many observers thought he should have won on his last racecourse outing but he did himself few favours by hanging right. Dumaran's recent form figures are uninspiring but Willie Musson did have a winner the other day. He was an uncompromising type on his day and should have come on for the run. Zalkani is not the most prolific of winners. He should be staying on when others have cried off. Le Corvee was scheduled to run at Newbury on Friday. Polonius was a very smart juvenile for Henry Candy. He has had his training problems but is watched in the market. Gingko has had plenty of chances. Mina A Salem is recommended as the bet.
