        Verdict

        Brian Meehan has hit a rich vein of form and Go Figure can add to the trainer's recent success, Kalankari and Tamagin are two others expected to run well. This son of Desert Prince returned fronm a six month break with a decisive victory over today's rival Tamagin. He was the first off the bridle but showed great determination to win by an ever increasing margin. The step up in trip looks ideal and he should confirm the form with the runner up despite being worse off at weights. Kalankari returned from an even longer break to beat Abaconian over course and distance last month in a modest maiden. He is entitled to come on for that run and he could be the main threat to our selection. The pick of the remainder could be top-weight Scroll, but with the stable flying Go Figure has to be the choice.
