Profowens gets the call ahead of Crackadee and Trisons Star Field Roller has yet to match fair hurdling form over fences, but he has time on his side, while pointing winner Crackadee could be interesting. Icare d'Oudairies' Bangor run last time entitles him to respect, while Kimbambo holds a chance if replicating his best hurdling form over fences, although he hasn't shown much sign of it yet. Profowens second at Carlisle last time showed that he stays well, and first-time blinkers helped there, while Tandava and Trisons Star have shown enough in getting placed over fences to suggest that they have to be considered. The betting might provide other clues but, without that, we will side with Profowens.
