A tricky handicap where Duelling Banjos is chosen to supplement his recent Nottingham victory at the expense of Lobos and Hadath. John Akehurst's gelding is at home on both turf and polytrack as he proved when landing a competitive handicap here in March. He still appears to be well handicapped and has the able assistance of Richard Quinn. Another jockey worth watching here at Lingfield is Ian Mongan who partners Lobos for the in form yard of Gary Moore. On Nottingham running this son of Rainbow Quest faces a stiff task against the selection but if returning to his best all weather form he could go close. However for the main threat it has to be Hadath who stayed on strongly over the seven furlong trip here two weeks ago when third behind I Wish, his turn does not look far away. However on this occasion Duelling Banjos is taken to land the honours.
