An outsider here that could run well is Turnberry but the two principals could be Freak Occurrence and Chubbes, with the latter given the nod. The top weight comes here at the peak of his form having got the better of the selection when landing a course and distance handicap 11 days ago. That followed an impressive victory at Redcar and the hat-trick is not out of the question. However Chubbes is three pounds better off with his conqueror for a one and a half length beating and that should be enough to turn the tables, especially as the selection took some time to really get going. Turnberry has looked very green in his four races to date, but has shown glimpses of ability here on the polytrack and it would be no surprise to see the John Hills colt sneak a place at a big price. Chubbes though holds strong claims and is the confident choice.
