A drop in trip may suit the game front-runner WIND FLOW who is preferred to Cold Turkey and Apache Fort. Catherine Gannon gets on well with this five-year-old gelding steering him to five of his eight victories. A winner of three races at the track over a variety of distances, this son of Doctor Fong is a formidable front-runner when left alone in front and is fancied to lead them a merry dance. General Feeling may not have stopped winning yet but his best form is over a mile or so he is passed over, as is Manshoor who is a French recruit who hasn't been at his best over hurdles this year. Fielder doesn't look over-burdened with a mark of 67; Sunset Boulevard runs this track well and cannot be ignored off this mark of 62, whilst Apache Fort could be interesting with Richard Hills booked. The yard can land the odd touch and it would be no surprise to see him well-backed. Ryan Moore is reunited with Cold Turkey and the gelding now has a mark of 74, one which looks lenient indeed having won off marks in the 90's a few years ago. Ryan Moore has ridden him to victory before and he rates as a big danger granted market support. A tricky handicap to get to grips with but preference is for Wind Flow.
