Moon Empress has had more than enough chances and must be opposed once again, with the vote going to Gary Moore's Santaverti. The selection was only beaten a length behind Sir Liam (well-regarded by connections; will be going across the pond for big races later in the year) on Monday at Kempton having looked the likeliest winner turning for home and with today's step up in trip expected to suit he looks the call in a weak maiden. Moon Empress continues to frustrate and cannot be backed to break her maiden tag today with any confidence. Conservative returns to maidens after two poor efforts in handicaps but has claims based on his efforts of last year although stamina is not assured. Anne Bronte was very weak in the market before her debut but is fully entitled to come on plenty for that run, whilst Stringsofmyheart has place claims at a big price. In a weak-looking maiden, Santaverti gets the tentative vote.
