Verdict
A poor handicap in which CONVALLARIA is our selection with Shake On It and Landucci the most pertinent dangers. Chris Wall's mare is more of a Kempton regular these days but she has shown form around this circuit over seven furlongs. She stays further than this trip so the extra distance shouldn't present too many issues. Shake On It looked to have lost his way badly a few months ago. His form is going in the right direction and there was plenty of money around last time out. Landucci is a regular in plating company. The handicapper has dropped him to 65 - a mark 2lb lower than his last winning mark in handicaps. Pab Special has been in fair form around Wolverhampton though has never won at this circuit before. The jockey bookings suggest Lopinot as the pick of Martin Bosley's pair. Moayed is well into the veteran stage of his career but he put up a fair effort in an amateur riders event and it's interesting that Shane Kelly is aboard today. Stable companion, Pharoah's Justice, who won a maiden for Jane Chapple-Hyam, is partnered by Chris Catlin. Convallaria gets the nod.
