In depth

Verdict

The veteran Captainofthefleet has won three times around here though it's a very long time since he was winning off much higher marks. Fleurys Fort rarely runs over a trip this far but stayed on strongly to score over 2m4f at Wexford and a 4lb rise shouldn't pose a problem. Silver Planeur has been raised 9lb for a convincing victory over this trip at Wexford and this looks tougher though further rain would aid the cause of Eric McNamara's grey. SIR ECTOR doesn't win as often as he should but his recent attempt to concede 6lb to Brosna George at Down Royal was a very good effort and a repeat could see him go one better. Force Of Forces won a Fairyhouse maiden for Willie Mullins in February but hasn't run since May and has changed stables.
