Whatsinthecorner scored over fences at Thurles earlier this month and was due to run in the 3.05 over hurdles there yesterday so that result should be monitored. Askari was also engaged half-an-hour earlier at the same fixture and would also have to be respected if taking his place here. Open To The World hasn't been having much luck over hurdles or fences but the booking of Jamie Codd catches the eye as does that of Derek O'Connor for Officers Mess, though the latter's best run was over the minimum. Winning point-to-pointer PLAN OF ATTACK has been a beaten favourite in his last three starts but has probably been finding the ground too quick. With the going likely to ease he can gain compensation for his long-suffering supporters. Rathnaleen Girl is another frustrating type as she's been running really well without getting there and a strike-rate of 1-29 over hurdles is off-putting.
