Verdict

The veteran Alpha Male is a hunter chaser but won a handicap over fences at Punchestown last May. Captain Jimmy alternates between hurdles and fences though is 11lb higher than when scoring over timber on the latter track in January. Winning point-to-pointer Merry Moves lost her maiden tag under Rules over the track and trip earlier this month and a 7lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run. HOLIDAY IN KERRY won a similar race over the course and distance just over a year ago and looked on the way back at Clonmel last time so gets the nod though there are plenty of dangers including Cahirmee, who fell at Clonmel last week.
