SO DES FLOS has been racing up with the pace in his races to date and staying on reasonably well. This isn't the strongest of maidens and he can get off the mark. Potters Party put a poor effort at Fairyhouse behind him when a close fourth at Thurles so should be thereabouts again while Castle Field Boy has improved with every run and will enjoy the conditions better than most. Macdermott started a short-priced favourite for a Down Royal bumper but was well beaten and didn't show much improvement on his hurdles bow at Down Royal a couple of weeks ago.
