D's Trix continues to perform with credit despite still being a maiden over fences and went very close on her latest start on this track when just touched off by Theresathingwrong. She can go well again but looks to have very little chance of beating WICKLOW LAD on these terms. Fran Flood's charge had D's Trix 40 lengths behind when scoring off level weights at Thurles early last month and though subsequently beaten on the same track it's difficult to see the placings reversed on these terms. Long Strand ran his best race over fences at Clonmel last month when runner-up to Curragh Grey and enters the equation but Gentleman Jim, who is struggling at present, finished a long way behind that day.
