OH JOHNNY has yet to score over hurdles despite a dozen attempts but could hardly have gone any closer than when beaten a head by King Maker over the C&D in November. He's been handed a 4lb rise for that effort but still looks the one to beat. Owennacurra Milan produced a shock when scoring on his handicap debut at Cork but that was over the minimum trip and he's on a 6lb higher mark. Gordon Elliott's horses were in fine shape before the enforced break so Trendelenburg, a recent winner between the flags at Maralin, is one to keep an eye on from his lowly spot in the weights. Lea Lady has suffered in the ratings after her success at Tramore in October and Aughwilliam Lady is not certain to handle the conditions under her burden.
