Verdict

MR GROOCOCK has more potential than his rivals though he doesn't look one to support at a short price. A very easy winner of a Clonmel bumper, he jumped poorly before finally getting rid of Paul Townend on his hurdling bow at Wexford but will have been given intensive schooling which hopefully will pay off. Courtly Conduct has come up against a couple of decent rivals in his two starts over timber and should go well while winning point-to-pointer Carhue showed some improvement here last month. See It As It Is ran very poorly at Punchestown last time but that wasn't his form as he'd shown promise earlier.
