A tough start for punters with several potentially useful newcomers facing the starter. Call Me Bubbles completed a double before just failing to land a hat-trick in a Premier Handicap and will have been well schooled. He's an obvious threat while Honourable Emperor had some very useful form on the Flat and is only lightly raced. Overcall is another with little experience who could make a useful hurdler but it's DIPLOMAT who gets the nod. Dermot Weld's charge is rated 95 on the level after landing a Premier Handicap at Killarney and though his pedigree hardly suggests jumping will be his game his trainer has had great success with similar types. Teofolina looks best of those with experience as she would have finished much closer to South South West at Gowran but for some sticky jumping and will have benefited from the run.
