Verdict

THE WEST'S AWAKE made a successful start to his chasing career over the course and distance on Saturday where he was always travelling well and won easily - a follow-up looks on the cards. Cable progressed with racing as a hurdler and is doing the same over fences and there was plenty to like about his victory over slightly further here earlier this month. Dual hurdles winner Bull Ride looked to have every chance on his chasing debut at Down Royal when unseating his rider at the last. He's had a run over timber to regain confidence and looks a threat. Fire In Soul hasn't shown much in three starts over fences but has the scope to do better unlike Kalann, who has already had 64 career starts.
