Verdict

Several of these made promising debuts though none have encountered soft ground before. Global Rose finished runner-up at Windsor while May Girl only found one too good at Catterick last week. But PRINCESS KEIRA finished ahead of a subsequent winner when beaten only a neck at Nottingham and she should go close on that form if handling the surface. Highland Mary failed to show any progress on her latest start but Dutch Desire is sister to a winner and a half-sister to two others and a newcomer to note.
