Carrolls Cottage is 2-3 over hurdles around here but his best form over fences has come on heavy going. MINX TIARA, who has been hurdling, scored on her debut over fences at Thurles before finishing runner-up in a Grade 2 here, form that should be good enough for this. Exit To The West has been inconsistent over fences but would have a chance on his latest placed effort at Navan but Brandy Harbour does best with plenty of give in the ground. Dinny Lacey won a novices’ chase here in 2020 and has performed with credit in much better company the last twice.
