Verdict

PATS CHOICE improved with each run in bumpers and gave supporters of the odds-on Brooklynn Glory a fright on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown. The longer trip won’t be a problem and he should get off the mark. The winner is trained by Willie Mullins, who has Double Talkin Jive engaged here. A winning bumper, he was a 25/1 chance when falling at Naas where he was on the retreat at the time though better will be expected. Midnight It Is ran well on good ground at Fairyhouse in November and his later runs were on much softer going while Kicking Princess won a Wexford bumper in October, though that was on heavy ground.
