In depth

Verdict

No three-year-old has won this in five renewals which suggests Love Is The Key faces a stiff task. Matjar won nicely at Dundalk in March but he's never won from a mark this high while Topadee has gone up 7lb for her scrambling victory here on Saturday. Erins Gal is still a maiden after 13 starts but ran really well from this mark at the Curragh last time and is on the short-list. Landsdowne was in fine form before a poor run when strongly fancied at Naas and he can't have been right that day but nothing here is in better shape than BUBBLY BELLINI and he's the one to beat. He gained a comfortable success over the C&D on Saturday then followed up just as easily at Sligo on Tuesday so an extra 5lb here shouldn't prevent a very quick hat-trick.
