In depth

Verdict

Battle Of Saratoga began his first campaign with a couple of excellent runs and would be a certainty if able to repeat that form but he's become very disappointing, though his rider set too strong a pace at Roscommon last time. He'll be difficult to beat back over a mile but the filly SHAMORA could do just that. She attracted good support on her debut at Wexford and, though looking in need of the experience, ran well enough to suggest a race of this nature will be within her capabilities. The remainder with experience have shown very little so Tracey Collins' newcomer Indiana Charmer, who is related to several winners in the USA, could reward each-way support.
