Keats Dream was no match for Tarla in a Grade 3 at Punchestown but had earlier landed a handicap at Thurles and finished runner-up to Cheer Up at Cork. MULL ON THE RUN has had just three starts over timber, beating a huge field of maidens on fast ground at Navan in September followed by a cracking second to Scholar's Mate at Punchestown the following month. A recent spin on the flat will have put him straight and he can continue on the upgrade. Keelaghan is very versatile and appears to be on a reasonable mark over timber. He was having his first start since November when fifth at Limerick a couple of weeks ago and looks a danger to all. Vinnes Friend was a disappointing favourite at Thurles in January and has been given a break but the handicapper may have got hold of him after his good form at the backend of last year.
