FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU has gradually improved and ran on strongly to catch Run For Oscar, who has won easily subsequently, at Thurles and that could be good enough. His stable companion One Down was always travelling nicely on testing ground at Tramore while Stattler was taking on a couple of smart performers at Naas and wasn't beaten far. On Eagles Wings was only 4 lengths behind Cheltenham winner Ferny Hollow at Fairyhouse so has an obvious chance in an interesting bumper.
