In depth

Verdict

Atlantic Shore has done little wrong and was only caught close home over this trip at Cork. Axiomatic, a winner between the flags, has never been further than 2m4f over hurdles and is likely to be suited by the extra. Willie Mullins looks to have the edge here with two entries. VENT D'AUTOMNE was having his first start for almost a year when third to Pencilfulloflead at Punchestown and with that under his belt can gain his first victory over timber. Stable companion Et Dite finished just in front of him that day but had three previous runs and may not be capable of confirming the form. Oscar Montel may prove best of the remainder.
