VENT D'AUTOMNE was having his first start for almost a year when third to Pencilfulloflead at Punchestown and with that under his belt can gain his first victory over timber. Stable companion Et Dite finished just in front of him that day but had three previous runs and may not be capable of confirming the form. Oscar Montel may prove best of the remainder.
