In depth

Verdict

Cherif De L'Isle has been unable to get his head in front for Gordon Elliott and was 10 lengths behind Seskinane at Navan last month. The winner has subsequently finished mid-division on the same track so the lightly-raced MOYODE GOLD (NAP) looks the one to beat. A maiden winner at Fairyhouse, he's since run very well in two handicaps on the same track and though 3lb higher looks set to return to winning ways. Ballea Fox was nowhere near his best at Clonmel after scoring at Punchestown and may need a break while First Class Return reverts back to hurdles after failing to win in five starts over fences.
