Moulin A Vent didn't get far in the Irish National having found Grade 2 company just too much at Navan. He has a penalty for his victory in this grade at Naas and was nowhere near his best when a long way behind Tombstone at Down Royal in November. The latter also carries extra for a victory in this class at Navan and hasn't quite gone on as expected, though he did finish in front of stable companion Tycoon Prince in the Grade 1 Ryanair at Fairyhouse. Kemboy ran a cracking race when fourth in the JLT at Cheltenham but only got as far as the first in the Irish National so the vote goes to his unexposed stablemate SOME NECK. He overcame some novicey mistakes when making a successful chasing debut over 2m4f on heavy ground at Gowran and today's longer trip can see him in an even better light.
