Dizzy Rascal is still a maiden after 24 starts over timber and can hardly be trusted to repeat last week's good run at Downpatrick. Mr Pernickety has shown that a race of this nature is within his capabilities with good efforts behind Chino Valdes and Martin Scruff recently. He remains on a fair mark but TURNONTHEGAS looks the one to be on. John Carr's charge was probably fortunate to beat Martin Scruff at Punchestown a month ago but it was still an improved effort from a progressive type and a 7lb rise looks reasonable. Whiskey Hall has had a couple of months off after a fair run here in December and is only 6lb higher than when scoring at Clonmel in October. He can go well but UK import Gift Of The Gods has had even longer off and may just need this first start for new connections.
