Verdict
RIGIDITY was a decent handicapper with Henry Cecil and showed himself to be potentially very useful over timber when easily accounting for a huge field of maidens at Gowran last month. The testing conditions won't have been in his favour and today's slightly better ground will be a bonus as he heads for Aintree. Apache Drums has done well with his victory over subsequent winners Narima and Kristal Komet at Navan in November the highlight. He will ensure the selection is tested while Ainm Spartacus was beaten in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse last time after an all-the-way victory at Gowran. Total Reality may prove best of the rest as he wasn't far behind Cheltenham hope Plan A at Gowran in January.
