Verdict

Presenting Mahler has won from higher marks than this and Liam Quinlan's claim is a bonus. He wasn't beaten far in a better race at Leopardstown last time so should go well. BEE A BENEFICIARY has been alternating between hurdles and fences and running well in both. Just touched off by Sizing Rome at Thurles last time he's taken to go one better despite a 5lb rise. Kilbarry Calling, a winner over 2m2f at Thurles last month, found 2m7f just beyond him at Clonmel so should be ideally suited by this trip and looks a real threat. Simple Steps hasn't been running well while Head Turner is likely to do better in the summer.
