Verdict

Captainofthefleet has won three times around here and from much higher marks so can never be dismissed while See Double You has also won from higher marks and reverts to hurdles after a consistent spell over fences. Napoleon Blue, a winning point-to-pointer, stepped up to this trip at Thurles and made his stamina count so a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort. Leave Your Mark enjoyed the soft conditions at Leopardstown so could do with some rain while Whereyounow has done much better since stepping up to 2m4f and stayed on strongly at Cork last time. YOUNG DEV, runner-up when tackling the trip for the first time on good ground at Clonmel, made his stamina tell when going one better over the course and distance on heavy going last month. He's only five and can improve enough to complete a double though Dark Decade is another improver who should be suited by stepping-up in trip.
