Cool Colonnade wasn't beaten far over 2m at Thurles on Thursday and this looks a weaker race. Amlad has been well beaten in two starts over hurdles since four placed efforts in succession in the summer but Harvey Specter had been running well on Turf before a moderate effort at Dundalk. Annie Pender landed a maiden hurdle at Listowel last month while VITA VERITAS, a winner over 1m3f at Killarney in August, wasn't suited by dropping back in trip at Navan last time where she finished strongly. The latter can get back to winning ways with her young rider's claim a massive plus.
