Verdict
The Tin Man, a three-times Group 1 winner, is the class act in this but he has only run here once before and was well beaten. Now an eight-year-old, he is not the force of old and this relatively easy 6f may not be in his favour. DAKOTA GOLD has looked as good as ever this year but is yet to win above Listed level. However, track and going are both positives for Michael Dods’ gelding, who found 5f on good ground an insufficient test last time at Doncaster. Brad The Brief beat the tough Summerghand at Newmarket in August but the runner-up is now better off at the weights and could take his revenge. Brando is eased in grade but this year’s efforts have been generally below par.
